Classical Rotary Gas Separator (RGS)
Reliable Gas Separation Solution for ESP Systems
The Classical Rotary Gas Separator (RGS) is a critical
downhole component designed to improve the performance and reliability of
Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) systems operating in wells with significant
free gas production. Installed between the intake and pump sections, the RGS
separates free gas from the produced fluid before it enters the pump stages.
By removing gas from the fluid stream, the Rotary Gas
Separator helps prevent gas lock, improve volumetric efficiency, reduce pump
vibration, and extend the service life of ESP equipment. Based on conventional
REDA 400 and 513 Series designs, the RGS offers full interchangeability at both
component and assembly levels, making it an ideal solution for system upgrades,
replacements, and new installations.
Designed with corrosion-resistant materials,
high-strength shafts, and tungsten carbide bearings, the Classical RGS delivers
dependable performance in demanding oilfield environments, including high
gas-content wells, corrosive applications, and high-horsepower ESP systems.
